Old How do I write to my favorite actor posts

One question:

If you send an 8x10 photo will it get ruined if folded? because sometimes if you fold paper with ink and it stays that way for too long it will rub the ink off and when you unfold it there are lines where the creases were.

I'm new to autograph collecting and I have a question. If you send an 8x10 envelop how many stamps would you need to put on it for the Self Addressed Stamp Envelop?

Why would you need to bend it?

Hi sarah25!
What are you sending? An SASE and letter of requests? A picture too? Put three stamps (maybe two) on a 9x12 envelope and two on the SASE

Hi!

If you're planning on sending an 8x10 photo, be sure to put that in a 9x12 envelope so it doesn't get folded! You never want to fold a large picture!

I fold my 8x10's but they are just magazine pictures. If your sending a nice photo listen to Selise.

Forgive me, I'm new to the boards but am big into autographs and love the resources this site provides!

I do have a quick question: Sometimes I see more than one address listed with the actor/actress. Which one do I send the 8x10 photo and request to? I don't want to send a request/picture to the wrong address. The few autographs I have I either obtained in person or ones that were already signed, I've never requested one through the mail.

first you could check and see if any other members have gotton a succes and use that address, or use the primary one, which is usally the first one!
