I have a probably stupid and irrelevant, unimportant question, but I thought I'd ask anyway. I know for Broadway it's called a Playbill. Is it still a playbill if it's off-Broadway? Just want to make sure I request the right thing when writing to an off-Broadway show. Should I ask for a signed program or is asking for a signed Playbill okay?

Though it probobaly would not matter to them, the correct term is a program if it is off-broadway.

Does aanybody know if A Final Night with George W Bush will sign playbills? because i want to get a signed one of will ferrell. Also, will he sign photos if you send to him? Thanks!

Sorry for the late response, just adding on to what the others said:

Yes your request will still make it to the theatre. The show title isn't fully necessary, just makes it easier for the house staff to determine what mailbox to put it in .

Off-Broadway: Most shows still do have playbills, some do not. If you want to check, go to PLAYBILL.com and go under "LISTINGS" on the left-side menu, where you should see "Off-Broadway." Click on there, and thenclick on the show your asking about and if you see an image of a playbill, obviously there should be a playbill. If not/if it says SHOWBILL or Program(me), then write for one of those.

Will Ferrell's comedy show will have a playbill, you can check it out on PLAYBILL.com following hte instructions above, except of course it will be on BROADWAY. Don't write now/until Previews start, as the mail will most likely just get tossed if it's too early. If I'm not mistaken, it's a one-man show, so it'd only be his signature, or maybe a stand-by. And it's more up-to Will Ferrell if he wants to sign. The stagemanager may/may not reply to requests for that one, for the sole fact that it's a ONE-MAN show (again, unless it's not, I don't know too much about it).
