johnny depp autopen question

Unread post by sonofthesouth8 »

hey guys i recently sent to johnny depp and i sent him a pic from "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" which is my favorite of his movies... i was expecting an autopen... but specifically i was expecting to have the picture i sent autopenned... however they returned my pic unsigned and sent me the standard blue background pic ap in silver ink... anyone know why they wouldn't have put my pic thru the ap???

They might have a bunch of "pre-signed" autopens and they just stick them in the envelope with your pic and send it back to you....you could always try again {thumb2}.

I don't know if this is entirely true...but that's my best guess.

I would keep trying. I sent two and received both back with AP autograph. Not sure why you didnt, might have caught them on an off day.

peanut1234 is probably right in that they probably had a whole stack of "pre-signed" AP photos to send out when they received your request.

It was easier for them just to stick the photo in your envelope instead of using the AP machine to sign your photo.

You should try again if you want your photo signed. Good luck.
