Filming is suppose to start in 09 but Summit is still finding a new director.

Re: Anyone see Twilight?
I haven't read the books, and I felt like the movie really alienated those who weren't already Twilight fanatics.
I thought it was extremely overacted - way too much brooding, and not enough dialogue.
I found the characters really unlikable, particularly Bella, who I found myself hoping would be killed.
The effects were bad, and reminiscent of effects you'd see in an 80's film, like when Edward was in the sunlight, and his skin turned diamondy and sparkly.
The scene in the ballet studio was horrific, and I don't care if it is what happened in the book, I thought it was just gratuitously gorey and violent.
Most of the characters were extremely underdeveloped, and I think Hardwicke spent way too much time establishing a connection between Bella and Edward.
The only redeeming features of the film were Anna Kendrick's small role as Jessica, who I thought was vibrant, and brought life and energy to an otherwise lifeless film. I thought the movie was visually stunning, so props to the cinematographer. I went into it, excited about Kristen Stewart as I think she's a fantastic actress, and left thinking about what a horrible performance she gave. She was dead in the film, and I wanted someone to shake her and coerce some sort of response and life from her.
Definitely will not be seeing the next one.

Re: Anyone see Twilight?
I liked it overall, I think that the effects like when Edward is running were pretty bad. But I really like the entire cast, I think that they picked perfectly.
I think those that didn't really like some scenes or the connection betweem Edward and Belle just wouldn't really like the story. As that is actually what the book and story is about. If you think that the scene in the ballet studio was gory don't go any farther at all. It just get worse, that to me wasn't that bad. But it gets worse.

Re: Anyone see Twilight?
I just saw it for the second time last night. It was definitely funnier the second time, and my favorite scene is officially the baseball scene.

JANUARY SUCCESSES:: Jennette McCurdy, Nathan Kress, Shawn Johnson, Rob Schneider, Nikki Reed.

The film just for an update about New Moon is supposed to be realeased on November 20th 2009. The director is the director Chris Weitz? from the Golden Compuss. Also there is a big debate on whether or not Taylor Lautner will be re hired as Jacob Black.

Re: Anyone see Twilight?
Why would you waste money on the movie if you didn't like the book?

Re: Anyone see Twilight?
Oh ok, I was just wondering. I know I've been forced to watch movies that I didn't like and didn't really want to see.
