I don't know if anybody mentioned this guy (I didn't want to read all the posts ;-) )
Freddie Mercury- September 5, 1946 to November 24, 1991
He died of AIDS at age 45. He was the lead singer of Queen and the writer of "Bohemian Rhapsody". He released a statement saying he had AIDS the day before he died. Even though his death was more than ten years ago, his awesome showmanship should be remembered. I would have loved to have seen them live in concert. The vocals Freddie Mercury possessed are absolutely irreplaceable.

BBC's voice of sport David Vine died age 73.

He hosted, loads of sports programmes, over more the 40 years, I remember him, on "It's a knockout" way back in the late 60's-early 70's.
