Getting an item multi signed by spouse/ team-mates/ friends?

Hi all,

Have any of you tried writing to a celeb request an autograph of both himself and his spouse/ team-mates/ friends?

I have done so previously with a success from Xander Berkeley and his wife, Sarah Clarke.

How about you ?

I know this doesn't really count but when I wrote to Patrick Swayze I received a PP of both him and his wife. I've never thought to actually ask anyone to do that though!

I've done that for pair/ice dance figure skaters. The "team" is the two of them and I have sent a photo asking for both to sign it. Approximately 10 "pairs" have complied and one responded with just her signature.

Most commonly though, if I have a photo with two signatures on it, I had to take a chance and send it -separately- to the different people.

Xander's autograph was one of the first ones from my collection (great signer). A few days after I mailed out the letter, I realized I could have asked him for Sarah's autograph as well. I was mad at myself for not thinking that earlier.

Now that you mention you had a success with that, I'm even more mad at myself! And this is when she was pregnant, probably at home and not off on some TV or movie location shoot.
