sase return address question?

Unread post by lollipop »

Hi!I'm actually new to this and I'm planning to send photos and sase. I have a question...
Can I actually write my return address on the upper left corner and also at the center of my SASE?

And what if I don't have enough postage? will it still be delivered?
thanks! :D :)

Hi lollipop! ;-)

Yes, you may write your address in both spots on the SASE. {up} Many members do that but I usually just leave it open - my mailing address is the only one on the envelope anyways so it won't make a difference to write it in the return spot too. It will be mailed to you if there's any problems.
And what if I don't have enough postage? Will it still be delivered?
I'm unsure about how all the post offices work, but back in 2007 when I wrote to Daniel Craig, I sent him a SASE with only 1 2nd Class stamp. It was obviously not enough (I didn't realise that at that time though) so the UK post office didn't throw it away, but moved it to an alternative service (I don't know how exactly) and I received it months later. So I think if it's not too much postage missing, they might deliver it to you, but always try to rather add more postage needed than less.

Good luck!
zanne
