US to UK question
Hi everybody!
I'm new here, and have never sent in for an autograph. I have several actors that I am interested in writing to that live in the UK (many from the Harry Potter movies.)
But anyway, I was just wondering if I should put American stamps on the letter to the agent, and then should I put them on the SASE? I know the SASE need postage of some kind, but I'm just not sure what to put. And how do you all package your letters and SASE's to be sent? Thanks, and I will really appreciate any responses, as I am hoping to start my autograph collection soon! {thumb2}

Re: US to UK question
Your letter TO the celebrity in the Uk will use US stamps (0.94 minimum), but on your SASE you need English stamps or some IRCs.
When I send a SASE, I fold it to fit in a smaller envelope so it costs less to send.
Hope this helped! Feel free to pm or post if you have more questions. {thumb2}

Re: US to UK question
Hello {thumb2}
I live in the UK and know that to send a letter to the USA it costs -
74p for upto 20g
£1.22 for upto 40g
Go into you local post office and enquire about International Reply Coupons - do not use American postage as I doubt it will be accepted!
You will need two IRC's for upto 20g or three IRC's for upto 40g. An IRC costs 95p here in the UK, and we can exchange it for something like 36p worth of postage!
I hope this helps!
