what happens to envolopes

what happens to an envelope to a celeb which does not have a stamp on. i was just wondering because im pretty sure my bro posted a envelope with letter etc without a stamp because when i got home the stamp was still on my table and he said he posted it. im pretty sure he didnt have a return address on the envolope.

Did you mean there's no stamp on the SASE? or no stamp on the outside (main) envelope? If there's no stamp on the SASE and still has your address on it, that would make it an SAE and you would still have a chance of getting a response. Unfortunately, if there's no stamp on the main envelope, they won't send it. I don't think post offices deliver letters without stamps. There's no way of sending a letter without a stamp (unless ofcourse you deliver it personally lol)

Hi Shinda.
As Nich said, If you have put no stamp on the SASE You still have about a 50% chance the celebrity will reply {love} , but it really does depend on who you sent to! If you have put no stamp on the OUTER envelope, than unfortunately it wont arrive there. :neutral:

it will probably be marked return to sender, and returned to you as long as you put your return address on it

If you are from the UK the letter will arrive at the destination but the celeb will have to pay £1.36

That is not always true. I sent a letter and a SAE to a celeb,and they sent back my SAE, with and autographed photo in it, and they didn't put a stamp on it, but I still received it.

gomez, they are talking about the outer envelope in which the member used to send to the celeb. Not the other way around.

Yup, Unfortunately they request will be trashed unless there was a return address. Unless the machine misses it (Which is rare) then your success won't make it there. Try resending it again if you can!

Sometimes mail is delivered with "Postage due" meaning if the post office DOES send it through the celebrity will have to pay postage. Some celebrities will pay it; some will not depending how much it is.
