Fast replies

When celebrities reply very quickly it makes me feel suspicious that it is not authentic. For example I sent Judi Dench a request and received a photo in about a week from England to the US. I was just wondering, do most celebrities answer mail every day or do some set aside time to do it when they get around to it? Do they have it forwarded to their homes or do some go into their talent agencies and sign a lot all at once there? With their very busy lives it just seems too good to be true that some could answer so quickly. Any insight into this topic would be helpful, Thanks!

Some of the older celebs & teen actor/actresses have time to answer their fanmail everyday. {thumb2} other times they might take their fanmail with them to movie sets and during film scenes or breaks they need something to do, so they answer requests! And if your suspicious about them not being authentic, you should research and find in-person examples to compare them too. {thumb2}

I know what you mean. Even though Judi Dench's TTM sig matches her IP one, I'm suspicious that they're secretarial. It just doesn't seem feasible that she can sign and personalize so many requests per day and send them out so quickly as well. It leads one to think she lives at her agency and never leaves London?!

Dench is one Ive been saying either its all sec, or the dedication is, for a while now. Hard to tell.

As for time taken, just like a long time doesnt mean legit, a short time doesnt mean fake. Depends on celeb/situation.

well yes it depends on the celeb a older celeb will reply fast ive gotten extremly fast replies from robert muncsh bobby thomson and june foray (thou ive been waiting on my second request for a while this time around), all three people i mentioned are over 60 .but i also got a really fast succes from kate voegele who is in her early twenties. so ya it depends on peoples situations. while bobby ,robert and june are legends at what they do/did their fan base is not huge, and kate is a young singer/actress shes got a good set of fans but the reason her autograph comes so fast is because she sends pre signed photos(their authentic their just signed in advance and her manager ships them out)

Shia must sign a few photos before to receive the letters to the fans and reply them.

A great example would be Martin Sheen, I recieved his back in 8 days. That request had to go 3/4 the way across th US...so minus the 6 days in the mail, he had it maybe 1-2 days in his posession. Absolutely authentic

As others said, the waiting time has nothing to do with authenticy. {thumb2} Some celebrities just have a better "fan mail system" in place than others - I got quick replies from authentic signers and I know some secretarials who take very long to reply.

Thanks to everyone for your insight. I am very new at collecting and it just bothers me a bit to have the thought that some of my autographs might not be authentic, thanks again! {thumb2}

if your celeb is good with mail, a quick response is ok. I sent to Meaghan Martin and it took two weeks. I guess It got there days before she picked up the mail

But for example, If a star (like demi lovato) was filming a show (she is) and hasn't picked up her mail in a while (I sent in nov, and dec.), and you got something back, then I'd be worried
