IRC Help Please! (UK - America)

Hey, I was just wondering how many IRCs I should enclose in my envelopes if I am hoping to recieve a 8x10 picture. Also, how much are IRCs? I live in the U.K.

In the United Kingdom, one International Reply Coupon is approximately 60pence. You would need 2 for a request, so you would have to spend £1-60. This is a bit much for a request, but if you really want someone, it's worth it. Especially if it's somebody that you are a big fan of. The personal value is priceless. I have only sent 2 requests abroad, both using SAE's though.

As aamir said, I would recommend 2-3 IRC's when sending aboard. If the photo is 8x10", I would say 3 IRC's. Are you sending to the USA? Postage for an 8x10" envelope costs around $1.80.
