Re: Doesn't Christian Bale answer requests from Germany?
hi.
if somebody can say me whether I can take unstamped stamps of 2004 and 2006?
and is 1$70 enough for an 8x10 photo to send it back to germany ?
Because i have the same problem like ROX .
i sent a request with 2 IRC's in November and another one with money in dezember.
no answer till now

Hi,
LG

Hi!
I know of many US celebrities (or people whos agencies are based in the USA) who only reply to fans who send a SASE.
As Shambler stated, if you send a SASE, it means the secretary can only put the signed photo in the envelope and post it immediately.
Also, the overseas postage from the USA for an 8x10" envelope would cost you around $1.80 (last time I checked). To obtain US stamps, you can ask members here to help you out in the "Autographs For Sale / Exchange" forum.
Good luck!

NOPE standard enveloppe is minimum 94 cent, trust meShambler wrote:Yeah, 2x 42c/forever stamps will only get a standard size letter back to Germany from the US. You're sending a DVD cover to be signed so you'll need to include more postage than that.dani wrote:2 x 42 cent isn't enough to Germany!!
Re: Doesn't Christian Bale answer requests from Germany?
I talked with Christian Bales publicist again yesterday and I asked if he does send autographs overseas or use IRC's and they told me he only will reply with a United States SASE and anything that invlolves going to the post office or shipping via UPS/Fedex is unavailable.
So....the only two thing I can reccomend (& think of) is if you happen to have a good friend or two who lives in the states, ask them to mail a request out and when it arrives back to their place they can then mail it to you. {thumb2} or option two is to buy one off of www.ebay.com ot another trusted seller. {thumb2}
I'm sure most of you will be dissapointed by this, but I figured it's best to let you all know, than having you guys & gals keep sending requests and losing DVD inserts or *Gasp* Multi-signed photos.

HMMMMMM. now that's interesting!
I didn't think US stamps would work overseas.
Well Now I'm puzzled.
Maybe that's the trick everyone else should use too I guess.

i agree Andy,i have noticed how many fanmails he know gets just by looking that the database, think of those who are not members on here and just look for addresses? Christian will soon stop signing or have a SEC(publicist maybye)..
Re: Doesn't Christian Bale answer requests from Germany?
That's a new one on me.
Then how come we members in the US can't put regular .42 cent and forever cent postage on our requests that we send overseas??? We have to get special ones or IRC's.
