do you like to bring your own pen/sharpie to signings

Unread post by miley cyrus fan »

hey guys im wondering do you like to bring your own pen/sharpie to sigings. i usualy like to. even thou the last 3 ips ive gotten i didnt(2 were at a siging and one was after a show for the sigings the celeb used their own pen for the one after the show i borrowed someones pen) but ya i almost always bring my own pen or sharpie to a siging even thou the celebs have their own to use.

and do you keep the pen after. i have special pens that i call my autograph pens and i use them only for sigings and meeting celebs(ill use them for something else if i cant find another pen thou) i mean i have a gold pen mookie wilson used and i still use it for crafts and i have a pen a few jamacian soccer team players used that i dont even no wheir it is, the only pen i really treasure thou is the pen mike piazza use it used to be my autograph sharpie but one side is out of ink(its a dual sharpie) but ya i wont use it no more because if i give it to a celebrity theyll sometimes open up the side thats run out and the auto will not really turn out it happend at a signing once and i told the celeb to use the other side.

No I've never done that. At the book signings I've been to a worker grabs the book out your hand before you even get to the celebrity, it would be too much hassle running over and going "oh please use my pen!"
But yeah if you're meeting someone after a concert or at a premiere then it's a good idea to.

I voted 'yes' hypothetically, as I've never actually been to a signing. I'd take my own marker so I can be assured of the quality of the autograph, and I'd also make sure I took a gold marker - a signature signed in gold looks really nice.
AUTHENTIC, OR NOTHING AT ALL.

well ive never been to a book siging(thou ive gotten two books signed ip before) ive met mainly athletes or former athletes. but ya i dont really plan to meet celebs after the show it just happend this time really(if you wanna read full detials check out jason mewes succes on the ip fourm) and at a regular siging its easier to just say hey can you use my pen please.

If its an arranged signing event, then no.

If its at a match, or a premiere or something, then yes.

Hardly rocket science is it? Image Image
