Aaron Eckhart
I have a Batman Dark Knight poster signed by all the leading actors (including Heath Ledger) except for Aaron Eckhart. Any ideas on how I might get it without fear of having it damaged in a crowd at a premier or never seeing it again if I try and mail it? This is the address that I have:
Aaron Eckhart
c/o Hirsch Wallerstein Hayum
Matlof Fishman LLP
10100 Santa Monica Blvd
Suite 1700
Los Angeles, CA 90067

The address has been proven successful numerous times. But maybe if you try to call the place before and make sure?
I just met him in the UK last month...
Bytheway, I just have to ask how did you get Heath to sign it? I didn't see any posters of the movie released for a long time after he was gone..

Re: Aaron Eckhart
As far as I know, Aaron doesn't sign items sent to him and they won't be returned to you either. He only sends out a standard black and white photo, which he signs and personalizes authentically.
Like the previous poster has mentioned, I'm sorry to say that I highly doubt those signatures on your Dark Knight poster are authentic. There were tons of them floating around on eBay (all poor fakes), and unfortunately - Heath had already passed away before any of those promotional posters were even released!

Re: Aaron Eckhart
I appreciate the help. As much as I'd like to have Eckhart's signature on there, I can live without it if comes to that. As far as the authenticity of the other signatures, I'm pretty confident they're real. I didn't buy it from ebay either. The poster came with a COA for all who signed it too. The company is neautograph.com so if you know something about them that I don't, please let me know. Thanks again.
Re: Aaron Eckhart
I presume your poster looks somewhat like this?

Unfortunately, COA's are worthless. Any unscrupulous person with a PC and a printer can make a COA for a fake autograph in an attempt to make it seem 'real', so my advice would be to not buy on the basis of one of these certificates being provided. As for neutographs.com, where your autograph was bought, I'm afraid to say that they are one of the most crooked dealers in the business. Below is an article published in September '08 about them, taken from the AAA Sports Memorobilia Blog :
I don't which country you are residing in, but if in the USA it is suggested that you contact your local FBI office with details of your purchase from neautographs.com
Unfortunately there are a lot of scammers out there
I know this may be disappointing to read, but I hope that you have found it helpful and more than that, I hope that somehow you'll be able to get your money back. I hate seeing innocent people taken down by crooks like these.

Link to original article : http://aaasportsmemorabilia.blogspot.co ... -from.htmlOne of the most prominent sellers recently that is selling fraudulent autographed Hollywood posters is Nathan Autographs. This company has been selling their products on eBay and most recently on a liquidation site known as Liquidation.com. They also have their own website at http://www.neautograph.com. They have been pursued by the FBI and by associates of Dave Prowse (famed Darth Vader from Star Wars). They have been working diligently to have these individuals prosecuted and removed permanently.
Some of the known seller ids on eBay for Nathan Autographs is autographmovieposter, ojvintage, ed90723, brd1124, pantep1, mlictu973, and btatin453. On Liquidation.com, they are known as nathar466.
Unfortunately, Nathan Autographs was successful in selling several of their fraudulent posters to unsuspecting businesses on Liquidation.com. These forged autographed posters are now appearing on eBay.
If you have purchased any autographed Hollywood poster that has a Nathan Autographs COA accompanying it, we suggest that you contact your credit card company and have your money returned. Also advise eBay or Liquidation that you have purchased one of these items.

Re: Aaron Eckhart
Wow... Well first let me thank you for taking the time to help a complete stranger. It's greatly appreciated. In all honesty I purchased this poster less than a week ago and have yet to receive it. I just know they said it would come with a COA. I'd like to think they'd be smart enough not to send an exact replica of the signatures displayed on their web-site but I guess I'll find out soon enough. Is there a way to get whatever they send to me appraised to know for sure? I'd have to prove it wasn't real, wouldn't I? How is their web-site still running? If you do a "google search" for almost any movie with the word autograph, they are in the "top highlighted" section! If the FBI is involved, wouldn't they at least shut down their web-site so they couldn't do any more business? Last question, should I wait to get the poster before contacting the people who sold it to me? I did trade emails with someone with their company. I do live in the U.S and I will definitely contact the FBI like you suggested when I receive the item. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Re: Aaron Eckhart
You can actually get it appraised (i'm not sure if that's the right wording), and there are places that it is their job to find out if it's real or not. However usually it costs a lot to have that done. I'd try to wait and get the poster so you know it's in hand, and then contact the company. Like I said I know that there are some places and that's what they do. That use to be what a COA meant, but now it doesn't really mean anything. Sadly that's why I don't really buy autographs myself.
My Autograph Collection, (If you want to ask how I got any graph please feel free to email me)

Re: Aaron Eckhart
I almost bought that poster myself, but some things didn't add up. First Heath's last name is spelled wrong. That made me wonder. And second, the Maggie Gyllenhaal signature looks nothing like her actual one. I'm so sorry you purchased a fake, but it kept me from doing it!
Re: Aaron Eckhart
Well, I'm going to San Jose, CA on 2/22 to an autograph show that PSA/DNA will be attending to find once and for all. I'll let you guys know what happens. As I said before, if it is a fake, I'll donate the poster to the FBI's investigation. I still find it hard to believe that they would be foolish enough to continue to sell fake autographs on their site when they know they're being investigated by the FBI... We'll find out on the 22nd! Thanks everyone for your help through this. I'll keep you posted.
