Also maybe a seperate category for sports success, film and music success and an everything else category. I dont like seeing 1/2 of the success being from people that were ms teen or the Geico commercial guy

Exactly I hate that. What I hate worse is the people posting a known preprint as an authentic success. They have to know thats a facsimile signature yet they fail to mention it or say they think it could be a pre-print. Why do this????? The only thing this does is makes people send out nonly to get the same autograph that is a facsimile. Anyway its a good idea I think. If you differentiate one category from the other (authentic successes from non-authentic ones), you open the forum up to free-loaders/dealers etc,who will all flock to the authentic successes section, and spam those poor celebs into oblivion, just because they send out genuine responses. Basically, if you do that, you're encouraging people to 'bum' a free autograph off the authentic signers. Another point to consider is, how many people know the authenticity of their autograph? You'll have tons of people posting in the wrong section (e.g an AP in the authentic section), and that'll just create even more work for us mods who have to move the topics, clear up confusion........rittdk01 wrote:people post a success when they recieve a preprint or just a photo. I'm sorry, but that's a bit of a silly suggestion. Everybody has their own tastes and if you're not interested in a certain celebrity's feedback, it's simple - don't click on it! Another member made the same suggestion because he was sick of seeing feedback from footballers (or what Americans call soccer players), but really, it's the simplest thing to just ignore it if it doesn't interest you. I really don't see the point...what do you do if someone receives an autograph from a celeb like Derren Brown then? Do we make a sub-forum for magician feedback? You can't put everything into neat little boxes, it's impractical. Also maybe a seperate category for sports success, film and music success and an everything else category.
