BRIT AWARDS- Total Failure!

I attended the red carpet at the BRIT awards at Earls Court on Wednesday, which turned out to be a total failure!

The red carpet was much smaller than in previous years, and even arriving 5 hours before the start, 4 hours earlier than I usually do, I only managed a second row spot.

The acts I went for (U2 & Coldplay) did not do the red carpet, neither did Take That. Other acts chose not to sign (Duffy, Kings Of Leon, Bernie Ecclestone, Tom Jones) Others signed a few (Lionel Richie, Ting Tings, The Edge)

I did get a few and I will post them up soon once scanned in.

Any reason why they didn't sign? (rain etc.)

Kings Of Leon totally blanked the fans and just did the press.
Duffy has a horrible manager who tells her not to sign.
The Edge- security guy / wary of items being sold.
Tom Jones- just said he couldn't as he had to go in despite being the first celebrity to arrive.

also the people welcoming the celebrities took them straight to the paparazzi and then didn't let them come back to where I was...

She signed a few, but before she got to me (she started at the door end not the car end) there was aloty of dealers shoving and so she stopped signing. :neutral:

oh thats sad if we didnt buy there music they wouldnt even be there theay could at least sign a few autographs

I have Kylie IP before so I wasnt fussed.

It was the security / management that forced alot of the celebs to miss out sections of crowd, but some chose themselves not to sign

bummer although bernie does not strike me as one of the great philantrothopics.
