How often do you send out requests?

Hey guys.
Just wondering do you send requests whenever you think of someone you want an autographed picture of? or do you limit yourself to so and so number of requests to send out each month because of cost of stamps and time.
Or do you send to a few everyother day..

I try to send out 6-9 requests every 2-3 months

I just send requests whenever I have them ready. I write out letters whenever I have any free time so that usually means I post a few in one go. I don't have a certain amount I send out a month or anything, it just depends on how much time I have and how many people there are I want to write to.

I send out about... wait for it... 1-2 letters a month! Ridiculous, I know, and sometimes I even skip a few months! It's no wonder I don't have a gigantic collection even though I've been writing since 2006. Oh well, at least I have my most favourites in my collection so I don't mind. {thumb2}

i like to send a few times a year to be honest, and ill send 5-8 letters out at a time nothing less nothing more. i like it that way. the only thing is a short drought for me would be a long drought for someone who sends like crazy, i love getting autos in the mail its so fun thou.

1-2 a month! I would have thought much more, looking at your successes Well you still have an amazing collection Robert Pattinson and Zac Efron! Jay Reno is a great one to have as well I loved him in Pink Panther

It's a great feeling getting autographs in the mail, especially seeing it in your own SAE Everytime I send 6-9 I go like OK, that's it for a few months but that never works out for me as I think of more people I like and send like 5 more out the following week

I send out different amounts. Sometimes I'll send 5 one day, 2 the next, then 3 the next day. Then, I'll wait a few days and I'm send out 1 or 2 more, wait a few, etc.

Whenever I think of someone I want one from, I type a letter, get some photos, make a Q&A (sometimes), and get their address. Then I save it on my computer and a few days letter I decide if I still want it and if I do I'll print it all, if I don't I'll delete it off my computer.

I never get autographs from people I don't like, though I know some people who do. :neutral:

After I've seen enough success... I'm like "okay I HAVE to send now!" So I just send.

But I wait about a month before buying new stamps!

I send out 35-70 in a typical month. It really depends on how much free time I have. This February alone I've sent out over 130 letters, but that's only because I have a ton of free time to write, and I just inherited a huge baseball card collection that I decided to get autographed.

And I only send out to people I actually admire, and know of. I don't send out to people just to have another autograph. I only want people I truly like in my collection.

So yeah, next month I'll probably send out less, but who knows - I've got another free month on my hands.

wow thats so much ive been collecting ttm for 2 years almost and have only sent out about 50 letters and thats including letters ive gotten back rts and second attempts. to be honest like i said i really dont like to send to much especially since stamps in canada are up to 98 cents. but yes i also write to people only who i am a big fan of.

ive been very succesfull ive gotten 14 authentic and 3 that are a bit sketchy 3 pre prints :neutral: and 4 rts . not bad for someone who only sends a few times a year

I've also been collecting TTM and IP a lot longer than you! It doesn't matter how many letters you write a month - just write from the heart and you'll have a collection you can be proud of.
