I consider authentic a success.
But I do keep PPs.
I haven't gotten a secretarial (as far as I know) or AP yet, though.
I only have a few PPs.
But if I get an authentic autograph from a person I have a PP of,
(like I recently sent out a Stockard Channing VV success)
I'll throw the PP out and keep the authentic, because the PP
is even more pointless. I hope that made sense :P.

I really prefer to get a personalized authentic. On the other hand, if I get a PP or AP, at least they care about their fans enough to respond. Sure I'm disappointed, but it is better than holding onto hope for years and not getting anything ever.

i completely agree with everybody here! my favourite is to get an personalised authentic autograph! SEC and AP is the worst in my mind because they are consider "real" ..PrePrint often everbody can see but Sec and AP is harder! but yeah only authentic thanks!

I trash the secs. Sorry but I do.

An AP or PP is not a failure but honestly, who like receiving them? No one has to send you anything.

I still keep AP and PP and when someone asks if It's real I just say yes :)

To me, authentic is a success. Anything else isn't worth my time.

I do have a few AP and probably one or two secretarials in my collection, but I keep them separate.
