TM x hayley x - moderator?

Hello everyone!
My TM x hayley x PM'd me today asking to be considered for a full moderator "position". I am opening up this poll to everyone who wants to comment on her performance around the boards. She had asked me to copy what she wrote in her PM to me...just a few points describing how she's helped out around the boards in a few months.

Here's what she wrote:

- I very often have new members PM me asking me to go through the whole process of requesting autographs with them, and I am always happy to help, very often typing up a 15 minute response to them to make sure they know everything.
I LOVE this hobby and I love being able to help out other people too. It's a great feeling knowing my advice has got other people started on their collection and so interested in the hobby.

I agree. She qualifies but I don't think we need anymore mods anymore..seems like everyone is getting a shot at being a mod, no offense to anyone.

I also voted yes Hayley has really been a good member/TM! BUT i think also that if she will be a moderator that there is enough of us moderators!sure more members are qualified of being a great moderator but we have many..

I also say Yes. But i do agree we have a lot of moderators. It's unfair to her though as she DOES devote a lot of her time on the board. Its unfair that there are many people getting promoted to be moderator who are on maybe once or twice a week.

i voted YES. in 2 years she has given us over 4500 posts. She is constructive, and will be a great addition for the team.

SInce when is post count a good thing? Look on her profile, it says -

What use is a Mod who spends almost half of her time in the pointless games forum?

I agree shes a lot more useful than 98% of the other TMs (and some Mods) but I'd say no - unless some current Mods are cleared out, as there are too many as it is.

Dont get me wrong, she'd likely be a good choice - but I see no logic in promoting more Mods.

Andy - She told me that she hasn't been in the Games forum in months. And that even though it says her most active forum is the Games one that's from a while ago. I'm just saying what she has told me.

I agree with most when it comes to there already being so many mods, but is that really a good reason to say no to her? She says she frequents the "Add/Update an address" forum and the "Request a celebrity address" forum.

Keep adding your comments. I'm going to keep this open for another week and a half before I make the final decision. Looks like it may be a difficult one despite everyone pretty much saying 'yes'!

Yes and no.

Yes its a good reason as there are too many as it is, and the more members who are Mods gives unbalances the forum.

No its not a good reason as she'd make a good Mod in all likelihood.

I take it theres no chance of clearing the "dead wood Mods" lol
