Email Addresses Section

There should be a section of the forum/website that shows the emails of celebirties.

True, I've seen some success that way...but more people seem to enjoy actually writing, plus way more successes are gotten that way. And if you send to an e-mail usually the secretary will just send a pre-print, or an unpersonalized. I've gotten a few myspace successes though...

Yeah, I just think that there should be just a small section for some people that like E-Mails just as much.

Hey tyredsox

Everyone wants their collection to be full of great autographs. Unfortunately, there are some who want autograph just to boost their collection, and not because they're a real fan. What is most likely to happen if we do have an email address section, they email addresses will get spammed and eventually the celebrity won't reply anymore or require people, real fans, to send in their requests by mail.
It would be nice to get fast autographs without paying for postage, however me and I'm sure several other members will agree that it would be respectful to the celebrity and the hobby of autograph collecting that we don't encourage people to spam these addresses just for a quick autograph.
Of course, there are some celebrities who have no problem with or seem to enjoy responding to email requests, but this is with a very small amount of celebrities and you can do your research on who's autograph you want, and see if they commonly respond by email.

I'm sure this has been discussed many times before, I hope you can understand why there is no email section on the forum And let's face it, we all enjoy writing letters {thumb2}
