Muriel Pavlow-Classic 40s and 50s actress SUCCESS

Attended a special screening of "Reach for the Sky" starring Kenneth More and Muriel Pavlow at the British Film Institute. After the screening, Muriel Pavlow gave a fascinating account of her career. She started acting in 1934 and is still working today. She acted with legends such as Lilian Gish, Margaret Lockwood, Alec Guinness and Dirk Bogarde. She kindly signed my photograph of her afterwards and despite a cold and being 88 she was in great form. A thoroughly enjoyable evening - sorry if these names are not familiar to younger members.
