The Allman Brothers-GREAT SUCCESS!

Every March, the Allman Brothers Band traditionally play a few weeks of concerts at NY's Beacon Theatre. Yesterday and tonight, I waited outside the stage door to hopefully have the band members sign a copy of the Eat a Peach album. Friday night, my first success was Derek Trucks, who took time to pose and sign for everybody. Butch Trucks was next to arrive, and he only signed for one side of the barricades-which was the side I was on. And Warren Haynes was running late, but he tried to accommodate everyone. For the band's 40th anniversary, they are having special guests on with them every night. Friday night the guest was Eric Clapton. Mr. Clapton seemed to be in a great rush when he arrived, and when I put the album out for him to sign, security shoved it right back to me. Today, I got success from 3 other members of the band. Jaimoe arrived early, so I was the only one requesting an autograph, which he did sign for me. Marc Quinones signed for all who requested. And finally, Gregg Allman arrived with his entourage. Mr. Allman only signed one autograph for anyone. That someone just happened to be me. Great successes!
