SelenaandDemiFan & BossC = Mods?

Hi all!

With all of the recent demotions and good moderators who left, I've been wondering about two potential good moderators: BossC and SelenaandDemiFan. I've seen how they help out almost daily in the "Collecting Help" forum and you'll notice that they constantly movie/lock topics (check the "Moderators Logs"). {thumb2} Now, I am aware that SelenaandDemiFan isn't some mods' favourite TM, but I think there's nothing wrong with her - she is, along with BossC, the most helpful TM's at the moment (and the only helpful ones...). Both are in Chrissy's Team, so it really is all up to her, I am just making a suggestion as I'm afraid the forum might go down if there's a lack of good moderators (seeing as so many have left).

Hey guys,

Actually i was going to make a topic for BossC to become a moderator. I don't think SelenaAndDemifan is ready for evaluation because i have been pm'ing her about what she could do more and what not lately. So i'm glad you guys think that BossC is a good choice also. I also am seeing very good potential in RyanJ. As he is extremely helpful. But we'll see how he does.

I will promote BossC to moderator. I could use some more help on my team!

Just to let you all know, i have demoted my moderator SeanKelly1233 to a TM as he has not posted anything since October but regularly visits. I will pm him to let him know and telling him that if he can't offer his help anymore then we can demote him to regular member altogether.

I have no trainee mods to promote, so if anybody sees any potential plz let me know also. I keep an eye out but I have been so busy with the anthony situation. LOL

I definitely agree with having BossC promoted to moderator! I talk to her often and she's super friendly and just a great helper (I've noticed) around the boards!

SelenaandDemiFan is helpful like others have said, but one thing that sticks out for me is a few weeks ago a member posted requesting an address for some guy from a commercial, and she reponded saying:

The guy is still in the commercials, and I do not think he has an address

I'm sure in her original post she claimed he didn't have an address, but then after seeing my response she edited it. Instead of either doing a little research, or just not replying because she didn't know, she replied with false information because the guy was in the database!

Also she needs to learn to develop her own opinions on things. One particular example is Twilight. She commented a few times saying she doesn't like Twilight:

It's funny because I do not even like twilight

But then with all the excitement of New Moon and all the recent Robert Pattinson successes she is now suggesting she is a big fan.
In one of Aamir's questionnaire things she listed the Twilight cast as her most wanted cast autograph, and Kristen and Robert as her most wanted actors/actresses:

Actors/Actress: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson
Full Cast of Film on one pic: Twilight!!

And she has changed the info in her sig to:

"Most Wanted: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Twilight Cast"

I just think it's very weird since she claimed she didn't like it just a few weeks ago.

But yeah she is a helpful girl, she just needs to work on a few things! But yes I agree with BossC becoming a Mod, and RyanJ is definitely looking promising

I agree, hayley! Interesting about the opinion thing! That's very odd!
Plus, when she does try to help she's usually just repeating what everyone else before her has said!
