Do you save your envelopes?

I keep ALL of the envelopes, three of them have had little notes written on them and a couple addressed my SASEs. As Zanne has said, to me they feel like part of the success! I like to see the postmarks/stamps, and I just like to see my SASE after it has been on it's journey around the world...

I always hand write my own postage paid reply envelopes as it is wrong to expect anything for nothing. As such, unless the recipient has written on my reply envelope it is pointless keeping them.

As an aside, as a former comic collector, I used to cut comic backing boards down to my envelope size and use them for stiffeners. Being white and shiny, I accidentally ended up with a collection of over 200 signed envelope stiffeners! One person even cut the stiffener in two, and signed both halves!

I only save the envelopes if they were written by the celeb, has the celebs return address on it, or something else put there by the celeb. I've had celebs put stickers on envelopes, or do little sketches on an envelope, so I keep them.

Also, if it's a hard to get signer, I keep the envelope with the VV address on a post it note that I sent the LOR to.

I only save envelopes on which the celeb has written something (address or even "answers" >> Archie lol )

I have one envelope (a celeb wrote on) and a part of one (from an extra-special success). I would keep them if the celeb wrote my address or a note. Otherwise I don't think there's much point.

if a authentic autographs comes in them then i definetly keep my sase after receving it , im a pack rat and i like to keep my envelopes as momentos.

they can also be usefull i haved used a few of my envelopes to store items in like photos ,pens etc. also i use the envelope to store the photos in until i have a frame or toploader to display them in.

If the celeb writes them I do but SASE's sometimes I keep and sometimes I dont

Sorry to bump this (but it's only a month bump) but I just wanted to say I started keeping them this week. I put sticky notes on them with who the celebrity is, and they go in the front pocket of my binder (the one inside, not outside)
