Re: David Tennant Anyone?
Hi,
Ive written to David Tennant twice now,
Firstly I received a signed 8x10 photo and secondly a Doctor Who postcard.
I never sent my own photos but was quite happy with the postcards he sent.
I would only send a photo if you dont mind not getting it back, or may see if you can try via venue?
Good luck with your request,
Brookton

Hi EssJayyCee,
Ive also written to David before,
I also received a signed and personalised Doctor Who postcard, However, it was authentic signature with sec personalisation, just like many successes here on Fanmail for David...

I recieved this when I wrote to him back in April '08
I never sent my own photo(s) but was just as happy with the postcard he sent me
To be honest, I really wouldn't bother to send a photo as there have been requests in the past where they havn't recieved any of their items back. Such as this one:
http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic.php?t=127985
I would only send a photo if its really necessary, but be wary that you might not get it back...
Just as Brookton said, you could always try 'Via Venue'
But don't forget he sends an authentic autograph, with a sec personalisation.
Good luck, {thumb2}

It is not required that you send a photo, however David will try to sign your photos if you do. If you request a photo, his PA will send a presigned, authentic autograph, and they will add the inscription (99 times out of 100, there have been occasions when he's done it). It's advisable that you dont send anything important if you worry about it not returning (such as DVD covers or theatre programmes).
He's not doing anything via venue at the moment. He has been a good VV signer in the past, however his agents specifically requested that autograph requests were not sent VV.

One of the reasons I sent the DVD cover was because he's such a good signer I thought I'd definitely get it back (as opposed to it being thrown in the bin). Though I have had back my item signed by Freema, so I'll keep hoping. Perhaps he just hasn't got around to them and the office simply has a big pile of postcards.

Re: David Tennant Anyone?
I wouldnt worry to much. Before Davids agency told people not to send vv i send and DVD cover and asked for a photo.
After 4 months i still got nothing but then right before my birthday last year it all came back my DVD cover signed and a signed and personalised photo just like i asked. So David is a great signer he sometimes just takes ages

I set VV before the announcement too. Though David is a good person and would still sign if he could (I dont believe he'd refuse anyone) I'd still suggest people respect his wishes from now on {thumb2}dragonflyer260 wrote:I wouldnt worry to much. To answer your question - you can send a photo. He may sign it. If he does sign it, chances are that it will take a lot longer than people who don't send photos.
David pre-signs a bunch of photos. He will need to come into an office to sign the photo you send - so that can take a while.
