A TM that doesn't know what a SASE is?

I am actually heart broken now I have seen these posts. I didnt think you guys where ever like this and I really am trying my best. I wanted to try out being a TM, but to be honest, I dont know what happened and suddenly I was a Moderator on Admin's team. All I done was send Admin a PM about my drop down bar...

Can you guys please give me a chance, I promise you, I wont let you, or the forum down, and I now know what they are by the way, Im sure you guys wern't perfect when you first became one. :

What next - aamir as GM?

Has the administrator changed hands recently? I mean, I love this site, but now that I am a mod and have "access" to the disputes and problems, I am rapidly losing my taste for this.

I think -Lili1- is a great person-I have traded with her and she is very trustworthy at trades, but at age 13, having her as a mod is a little fast! And I don't think she even had the 3 month TM period.

Nicole, we--at least I--don't mean this personally, we just think you need a little more experience and right now, most of us don't like what admin is doing with the site and to us and our decisions, so not even having you complete the 3 month TM trial run is insulting to those of us that had to do it.

-Lil1- they are not bashing you or holding anything against you. Please do not be hurt. We all really like you here. The thing is, when we choose moderators we set up polls and vote, we haven't had any voice in this one. Rules are rules and everyone should follow them, including admin. We are just surprised at your quick promotion.

We don't mean to upset you, but we would just have liked to see a bit more of you helping out as a regular member before you got promoted to a higher position. If you helped out on the collecting help board etc. for a few months before applying to be a TM and you proved yourself then we would all have noticed your potential and would have been happy for you to be a TM. It was just because you started posting there just before you applied, plus you gave out false information so you didn't appear capable to us.
Also, everyone has to go through a trial period as a TM. I was one for about 4 months before I became a mod, so you have to understand it's a bit ridiculous that you're a TM for just 1 day then you become a mod! It's nothing against you personally, but admin has been making so many decisions lately without even consulting us first.

Thanks for being understanding. I don't mean to blame your age for your inexperience, it's that you JUST became a TM and now admin has promoted you! I don't mean that you are bad-just inexperienced and need some more time before you have the authority of a Tm or Mod.

A TM and a Mod represent the site to the "normal" members and we really need to have the experience to back up our authority.

The real issue is one that some mods are having with admin. It seems as though everyone they think needs to gain experience and not be a TM or promoted gets put on admins team and you just got in the middle of that battle. :neutral:

I'd like to add, that it's QUITE unfair that other GM's have to put up a poll and ask for peoples opinions about a TM. We all agreed on a poll to be set up to decide as a whole who becomes a moderator. Isn't that why we have teams now?? I really don't feel like a team at the moment. This should be fair game for all.
