I believe that sending more than 2 photos is greedy. If you're a true fan, you'll be happy with 2 autographs.

2 photos is the max that i would send.
The only time i would send a 3rd would be if im sending for a friend of mine as a present. But ceratinly 8 is to much they may get the wrong idea

I usually send out 2 and very rare I send something more but for me, maximum is 4. I've sent 4 only once in my lifetime (my first request to foreign country)-I was also collecting posters at that time and sent 2 posters to get signed plus 2 photos.
I always have problem deciding what photo to sent but I try not to send more than 2.
Try to decide for top 3 or top 4 (maximum I'd say) and send those. It's enough. 8 is too much.

I usually send 2-4 photos. the reason is kinda stupid:
Postage is 6Euros (~$8) for a 8x10 envelope and it doesn't matter if it weights only 2 grams or 500grams. It's hard to explain without not having a total fixation on the money. I love collecting autographs but it got sooo expensive. That's why I "want more than only 1 photo" for my money. Please don't get me wrong
Hope you get my idea. I know, it's sort of stupid but 6Euros is a lot! Sometimes I pay this and get back the signed photos for only $.94!!! That's crazy!
Most for me have been7 DVD inserts I sent to Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger). But I have to add that I sent $30 along with the inserts as I know/knew that he only signs 1 item for free (inscribed at least) and charges $5 for each additional. And since I wanted all my inserts personalized I sent him the money - I absolutely don't regret it. Some member on here don't recommend celebs that charge money for signing stuff. but as long as it's not too expensive and you're getting a 100% authentic auto it's legitimate in my eyes...

I have never sent more than 2 photo's to a celebrity. I believe for every extra photo you send, one less fan gets a response. I would recommend keeping it to 2 max!
Good luck!

i usually send 2 or 3 items to get signed, nothing more, also if you send alot of items the celeb may think your a dealer.
