A TM that doesn't know what a SASE is?

Me neither, but I had been a TM for some time so I figured they decided I had done the trial period.

I really hope this gets all settled out because it is hard to work together with people constantly fighting.

-Lil1- they are not bashing you or holding anything against you. Please do not be hurt. We all really like you here. The thing is, when we choose moderators we set up polls and vote, we haven't had any voice in this one. Rules are rules and everyone should follow them, including admin. We are just surprised at your quick promotion.

We don't mean to upset you, but we would just have liked to see a bit more of you helping out as a regular member before you got promoted to a higher position. If you helped out on the collecting help board etc. for a few months before applying to be a TM and you proved yourself then we would all have noticed your potential and would have been happy for you to be a TM. It was just because you started posting there just before you applied, plus you gave out false information so you didn't appear capable to us.
Also, everyone has to go through a trial period as a TM. I was one for about 4 months before I became a mod, so you have to understand it's a bit ridiculous that you're a TM for just 1 day then you become a mod! It's nothing against you personally, but admin has been making so many decisions lately without even consulting us first.

I completely understand, I do, myself, think this is ridiculous.

And to make others happy, I am MORE than happy to do the trial period,
and help out on the 'Collecting Help' part of the forum...

Thanks for being understanding. I don't mean to blame your age for your inexperience, it's that you JUST became a TM and now admin has promoted you! I don't mean that you are bad-just inexperienced and need some more time before you have the authority of a Tm or Mod.

A TM and a Mod represent the site to the "normal" members and we really need to have the experience to back up our authority.

The real issue is one that some mods are having with admin. It seems as though everyone they think needs to gain experience and not be a TM or promoted gets put on admins team and you just got in the middle of that battle. :neutral:

Lil, you are a good member and everything. But you are not ready to be a mod. I think you should either get demoted or ask to be demoted. Don't get me wrong, you are a wonderful member, who is polite and helpful, but I don't think you are anywhere near mod standard.

Sorry if this sounds harsh, but this is no disrespect to you as a member, but I feel you shouldn't be a moderator.

Also, what is admin doing with the whole Admins team thing, I'm sure we had to vote not long ago and now it seems things are happening without us even being notified! :neutral:

Nope we weren't, but I think most of us knew what a SASE is.

It's not about your age its about your knowledge. You can be 33 but still make a terrible Mod.


None of us are saying you are a bad member/ person. In fact I think you are the best out of admins team. I mean at least you don't write to VDS or David Tennants 15+ times; neither do you try to rip people off with stamps and illegally selling SFM photos..

The truth is no one can stop you from being a Mod, as long as you are on admin's team, as long as you are in admin's arms no one has any say as to whether or not you should be a Moderator, or even a TM.

There's a saying "if you hang out with losers; you become a loser." I wish you the best as a Mod and that you will not be influenced by the members on your team.
