Wales + Northern Ireland?

Unread post by aamir »

Are these part of the UK?
Will I have to go to the post office and get them weighed and pay more stamps from England?

Well Wales is part of the UK, you would definitely not need extra stamps to send to there.
Northern Ireland is part of Great Britain, but because it is not connected to the mainland UK I don't know if you would have to pay any extra for shipping, I have always wondered this myself.

If your sending to Ireland itself, not Northen Ireland you might have to pay a bit more and they might even have their own stamps if your sending a ssae as its not part of the UK but im not completely sure.

Good luck {up}

Northern Ireland is just normal postage. I sent my Snow Patrol letter to N. Ireland with just a normal 1st class stamp with no problems. {up}

I have sent to Wales and Northern Ireland too I think and that has been fine as the postage rates cover the whole of the UK. However if you were sending to the Republic of Ireland you should get it checked at the post office as I think they have different prices/policies.

Good luck and hope you are successful!

Phoebe :D
