Re: Where do you keep your autograph/fan pack succsesses??
I would go the same route as Zanne, but my problem is with some of my autographs being larger than A4 size! I want to get special custom binders made but I'm worried that it will cost a fortune :neutral:
AUTHENTIC, OR NOTHING AT ALL.

Authentic autographs I scan and upload to Flickr, then I frame and hang the originals.
Preprints I keep in a binder, with a few exceptions for actors/writers I like, and those go up as well as "wall art."

I keep mine in archival plastic sleeves, organized in a binder from first to last success.
I toss the envelopes.

I have 4 big binders filled, some pictures framed, and my signed books are all in a special bookcase.
Preprints, unsigned pictures, and autopens: I keep them in the envelope I received them in and store them in a drawer.

That sounds like a good idea Nightowl - where can you buy these?nightowl wrote:I buy three ring binders and put my photos in those acid free, top loading, clear plastic sheets. I get the size that will fit an 8.5"x11" page, and that way it will fit all sizes of photos. My plastic sheets come with firm white sheets of cardboard. I put those in there to help keep the pages from bending. It keeps them free from dust and light that can damage them over time. And it allows for neat, easy, storage that takes up a little room as possible. {thumb2}
I love how you store yours, Zanne. They look really great! i'm going to have to look out for something like that.
How does everyone stop the pictures sliding around inside the wallets, by the way? As I wouldn't want to glue them down when I get an album/presentation folder as i'd still want to take them out and look.

Make sure the plastic sleeves are acid free, or over time they can damage the photos. It should say right on the package if they are.

You have to buy self-adhesive, archival quality photo corners! {thumb2}

though some people dont like to do this, i always either frame or topload my autographs and ill display them either on my wall or dresser. its ok to frame autographs as long as their not in direct sunlight.
