Postage - US to Germany

Unread post by matze16 »

Hello :D

1. How much does it cost to send a C5 envelope from US to Germany?
I tried to use this postage calculator and calculated different postage between $1.00 and $2.00 :?

2. I read about stamps and forever stamps here on fanmail.biz, I think I understood the difference between them. So I decided to use forever stamps and just wanted to inform myself
here about available stamps but couldn't find the forever stamps :( Where can I find them?

Thank you very much in advance {thumb2}

Regards,

Here is where you can find forever stamps: http://shop.usps.com/webapp/wcs/stores/ ... T.ac=44951

I have been told that if you aren't in the US you can't order online but you can call their toll free number and use a credit card.

As for the C5 envelope you would need a minimum of 0.94 in stamps. If it weighs more than one ounce you would need 1.74 in stamps.

Hope this helped. Feel free to pm or post if you have more questions.

So if weight is <= 1 oz 0.94 is enough, or should I use 3 forever stamps to play safe?
About one year ago I got back a C5 envelope from US with one 0.93 stamp on it...

Thanks again :mrgreen:

The required price is 0.94 but some people only have the forever stamps so they use 3 Forever stamps. You could buy the forever stamps and some 0.10 stamps--that way you need 2 forever stamps and one 0.10 stamp.
