Big problem...

if you wont believe us about how there are too many mods and TM, then believe it because people who even are NOT TM or MOD believe that there are too many...take this quote for example

I've been confused about this for some time...

1. What is a "trainee moderator"?

2. Why does there seem to be hundreds of moderators and trainee moderators? I've seen much bigger forums that are maintained by far fewer moderators. Is it simply a meaningless rank thing here?

I know that there are bigger problems to worry about but I do think there are a lot. And some TMs that really don't help, they just seem to like their name in blue.

What about a TM/Mod promotion freeze right now?

I'm not dismissing the fact that there are a lot, but I don't see the post a problem. That's all.
We've already gone over this (I'm pretty sure) when we got rid of the load of TMs...at least I understood that we weren't going to promote anyone. There's lots to figure out still before we can even thing to start promoting again (but next time appropriately).
