How often do you send LOR?

I'd say about 10 a week. I'm trying to complete a series of Astronaut autographs (and there's a lot of em!) So I've been sending out pretty heavily lately, but 10 is probably a good average. I'm more in the historical genre rather than actors/actresses and you'll find there are a whooole bunch of people to write to from there.

I send 4-5 requests every 1-2 weeks.

I usually prepare a pile of envelopes so that I can mail them all at once when I have the time to go to the post office.
Let's say... 5-6 requests per month.

Not much. I send out a couple usually once a month or so, it depends who I am writing too.

I only send out a few times a year.

I don't have a lot of people on my wanted list at the moment. And I only ever write to people I really admire.

I also only write to people I admire, and since most of them fall into the historic/military categories (and they're getting older) I've been sending out 10-15 a week. On the list that are going out tomorrow are 12, and after that I'm down to 130 people that I still want to write to - so that should be done in another couple weeks.

I send out 1-2 letters a month - that's very un-often! But I never felt like I should send a letter out weekly, I don't even know that many celebrities and I'm only a fan of a handful! I need to be in the right mood to write fan mail, it's not something I just want to get over and done with. Writing fan mail is something I put a lot of time and effort into so it's impossible for me to send more than 2 requests a month!

And now i only write to people im massive fans of so i only send about 2 a month like you

Plus if i sent out loads weekly, i wont have anyone to write to because id run out of people i admire
