Religion
Just about every other good forum has this debate. I just thought I'd drag it over here and see what you guys think. Remember: This is a crusty subject, and could cause an argument, which is not a very good thing, so avoid anger.
I was just wondering what your guys opinions are on religion and God.
I for one am 100% born and bred Muslim and will stay that way for the rest of my life.
What about you?

Re: Religion
I'm a Roman Catholic, I've been brought up as one my whole life and I intend to keep my faith for the rest of my life, I feel that it's an important part of me. I do love to find out about other religions though and surprisingly there are very many similarities between most religions out there, it's all very interesting and good to learn about.

Re: Religion
Yeah, I have basically the same opinion.
Thanks for sharing.

Re: Religion
This will probably get locked like other threads on religion have before
But I am going to give my opinion because it is my favourite subject.
I am an Anglican, by choice. My parents never wanted to push anything on me so they decided to wait until I was old enough to make my own decisions. I got baptised and confirmed because I wanted to and believed all of the teachings. I go to church on Sunday's and am good friends with the vicar and priest at the church in my home town.
I am very interested in all religions however. I studied Religious Studies for GCSE and A-Level and I own countless books on different religions which I love to read. I am also going to do a Masters in Religion when I have completed my degree.
I have been to many different places of worship to get greater insight into their beliefs and have shared meals with some which was amazing! In the summer I am going to India so I will be able to visit many of the famous temples, as well as others I have studied about. Can't wait!

Re: Religion
I'm not religious at all. I just believe in being a kind, considerate person and living a good life. I have a huge amount of respect for religion but I just wish there weren't so many to choose from and that everyone believed the same thing. There would be no hate crimes surrounding religion then {thumb2}
Re: Religion
Good to see no argument has occured yet on this thread, so ill have an input!
I have no religion, never have. Many people in my country arent religious. I just dont believe in religion and that stuff.

Re: Religion
I'm agnostic, but culturally Church of England Christian (as in, I celebrate Christmas & identify more with Christianity). I love to visit churches, but for the history and art rather than the religion. I would prefer to get married in a church rather than registry office for the same reason, I'm very traditional (even if I don't believe).
Re: Religion
I dont have a religion
I used to go to Sunday School for an hour when I was little but I stopped going when I was 7.
I do belive in God however
I believe in being a kind person and living a good, fun life
