How many items do you send to be signed?

yeah i just send them one thing to be siged i think one is good im always happy if i just got one photo from them

It depends, I send 1 pic and a match attax card if its a footballer. (I mainly collect football/soccer (for the americans ) autographs) but I also send to actors and actresses so it's best to send no more than 2 pics as it's disrespectful imo.

I send 2, a photo and an index card. I have only ever broken this rule once, I sent 3 photos to Catherine Tate (and I actually can't remember why I did it, it seems a lapse in judgement or concentration at the time). She signed all three (cause she's lovely like that).

I usually send 2 photos, one for me and one for my sister or for my friend, and an index card if I don't have photos or just in case they would like to sign it. I also send 2 photos because I can't choose between them and because they're my favorite. I have only sent 2 questionnaires so far, but I don't expect it back. I just wanted to try. :razz:

I usually send 1 or 2. Sometimes I'll send a Q&A if I know the person will fill it out, so, somewhere between 1 and 3. The most I've sent was 5, but 3 of the photos were for my family (it was Will Ferrell- we're all a big fan of him), and 1 was a photo, the other a Q&A. I think anything over 4 or 5 is way over the top. I wouldn't sign all those if I were a celebrity. I'd send 4 or 5 at the most.

I send only one and I feel that is enough. People who send 3-7 to me are ruining the chances of others to get one. That is why celebrities stop signing and go to the autopens or sec. or Studio Fan Mail. Think about how busy they are and someone sends 4 photos, a questonaire, and an index card! I would quit signing too. Just my opinion!

But nobody would force you into signing ALL the things that came in, you know? That can't be the reason for celebs to stop signing or send secs or APs. They could sign only 1 out of even only two items and retuned 1 unsigned. It really is all up to the celeb.

One time I sent out 3 to Rob Zombie, but that's only because I wanted Sheri Moon to sign 2 of them. I try to stick to 1-2 photo's max. More than that to a single celebrity is greedy I think.

I usually dont send anything as i dont have photo paper, i hope for a signed picture from whom i send to. If i send something I send one item, i dont think i've sent two things before. I'd say the less stuff you send, the better chance of recieveing it back signed as the person signing dosent go "oh 6 pics to sign". Im sure they are more happy to sign one or two items rather that heaps as it would get annoying for them.

If you send more than one photo, it's nice to say to the celeb "Pick your favourite photo to sign". Sometimes, if they are all good photos, they sign them all! Let them feel that they have control of what they do, instead of telling them to sign them all.
