Re: Upcoming Premieres: April - June '09!
We have just received confirmation from Warner Bros that the Japanese premiere of Half-Blood Prince will take place on Monday, July 6, 2009. The date was first announced at a fan event that took place in Japan on April 19, after which we inquired about the date.
Warner Bros also states that this is the FIRST world premiere, and that two more will take place afterwards in London and New York. The London premiere will take place on Tuesday, July 7th, and the New York City premiere will be the next day, on July 8th.
At the moment we do not know which of the stars will be attending the Japanese premiere; that information will be made public closer to the July date.

does that mean that HP 6 premiere isn't July 17th as I thought?
If not, I'm going to be depressed - we booked our flights and hotels JUST so we could see Dan

Newbie, thanks for the info. I will not be posting it until I get confirmation from the sites I get premiere information from, however it's good to know!
Roselle, the HP6 film will be released into theatres in the USA on July 15. However, the movie premiere is always up to a week or two before its actual release into theatres. The movie premiere hasn't really been confirmed yet from my sources though I would not doubt what newbie has posted is true.
