I was just curious to see what sort of SASE everyone uses.
I have always used an Evidence 9x12 white pull and seal envelope.
I had bought a pack of 25 at Wal-Mart for about $5.
Now, I've checked 3 different Wal-Marts, and none have that pack in stock. :(
They still have the same brand of envelope, only yellow with just the metal clasp seal, for about $5.
But, I don't want to use those...I'm not sure if you're supposed to send them anyway. But even if you did, the clasp could break.
So, I bought a pack of 6 of the same Evidence 9x12 white pull and seal for $3.50.
My post office doesn't even sell 9x12!
Just 10x13, which I find too large...

So, just curious, what sort of SASE do you always enclose?
I wouldn't include anything smaller than 9x12 so the celeb can include any picture they want to..

lol Same here i searched everywhere at Wal-Mart for the white 9*12 and they are out of stock. Staples is having a buy the first two 12 pack of 9*12 for $1 each and get the 3rd at original price

I use a 9x12 white pull and seal envelope, but I recently ran out so I'm folding a 10x13 envelope. I use 10x13 to send my letters and SASEs in and it's pretty large. I usually get the 9x12s at Office Depot, but they only come in packs of 5.

I use the standard 4x6 envelope, mainly because it's a lot cheaper postage and I like sending my own 4x6 photos for them to sign. For playbills I send the 9x12 manilla envelopes, I haven't had a problem with them so far, they just have a metal clasp, I make sure though that I tape it securely, and I tape the clasp down since sometimes they can get caught in postage machines.

Hello,

I use brown C5 envelopes. I also use the peel and seal ones, makes it lots easier for the celebrity {up} I never find them too small since I usually send my own picture for the celebrity to sign. The rest of the time it is usually a request to Casualty or Holby City actors who send out signed cast cards which are 6x4 in size so they definitely fit too {up}

Good, so I'm not the only one with that recent problem. haha.
But wow, I wish I was nearby a Staples.
There used to be one about 15 mins. from where I live, but it closed. :(
Now the closest any kind of office store is about an hour drive.
So, I only have Wal-Mart. lol.

I only send the hard cardboard 6 x 8 photo mailer envelopes along with my own 4x6 pictures even though they cost about 50 cents each they are worth it to be sure you will get your picture back in perfect shape.
