PATRICK STEWART AND IAN McKELLEN

Unread post by mymymy »

I got the full cast of "Waiting for Godot" tonight at Haymarket stage door. Patrick Stewart was in an upbeat mood but not enough to change his rule on no photos with him (something I really want). Despite this people were cheekily taking photos of people standing behind him whilst signing which is the next best thing, unfortunately i need someone with me to do that.

PS - how can do you upload videos!!!!???

Also got Ian McKellen (personalised, cant read what elso he wrote?!, Simon Callow and Ronald Pickup.

Very happy.

Lucky you!! Well done! To upload videos? You usually have to have a Youtube account and upload them there, and post a link on here ;-)

I've met one of the young boys in 'Waiting for godot'-His name is Richard(but I met him when he was in The sound of music as 'Kurt Von Trapp', back in January 2009.)

I think you'll find the word which is confusing you all would be "Sir" - Sir Ian McKellen has been knighted and thus it is common for him to sign with the word "Sir" as well.

rottie155 didnt suggest anyone was confused as to who he was.

It does look like "Sir" but I agree, I don't think he signs with it very often, and indeed not in this case.
