Re: Star Wars success
John Williams (sort of lol)- he returned the 3 Galaxy cards that I sent him unsigned, but enclosed a typed note saying...
"Due to the overwhelming volume, and backlog, of personal materials sent to John Williams for inscription, he is no longer able to honor such requests. Instead, Maestro Williams would like you to have the enclosed card that he has autographed personally' Thank you for your interest."
and enclosed a signed blank index card.
so he didn't sign the cards, but it was nice of him to send the card and not just say no im not signing anything anymore.

Congrats! Williams hasn't been signing fan items for a couple of months now. But it's nice to know that he sends out his own signed inde card, that way you can always matte & frame it with a Star Wars photo. {thumb2} I was lucky to have gotten him on three prequel WV cards last year.
Keep up the great work!

David Prowse (I knew not to hold my breath on this one. he returned the cards I sent unsigned with a ad asking for 15 pounds per autograph, PLUS another 2 pounds for shipping! It is all for a charity though, but ill have to pass for now)

He is charging for each autograph, the money he gets goes towards a charity he is involved with.
im all for people asking for donations to charity for an autograph, but that is a little much and i cant afford it right now. and i would think that he would make more money for the charity if he charged less and was then able to sell more of them.
