Help posting with pictures of AUTOs

Unread post by The Bionic Fan »

I have been getting autographs through the data base now for over a year or two now. I would like to share my successes and failures with the club. I have been reading through the forums and trying to make success posts. It only denies me the right to inssert my pic of autograph received. I do not have camera, but do use digital camera. I have tryed varied pic sizes with no luck. My question is how might I become a better part of the colletors discussions? What format must pic be in or such, totally lost but wanted to share my rewards with others. Please Help
LOST... :shock:

Ok, cool. I went with photobucket. I figure they were all about the same. Does a scanner do better work as showing signatures. I been using a digital cam and cannot seem to get a good closeup?

A scanner will always do a better job than taking a photo, and you can get them for relatively cheap now. It just depends on whether you will get enough use out of it to justify the expense. I scan mine because I also put them into a digital photo frame, so if you wanted to do something similar then a scanner might be a good idea, but if you only use it for putting pictures up here, then I'd say it wasnt worth it.

Yes I use photobucket too, I find it much more efficient {up}
Yes a scanner will show better, cameras add a glare to the picture most of the time so you can't see the signature as well. I personally use either my digital camera or my webcam, I know the quality isn't perfect but I can never be bothered carrying my printer/scanner through to the lounge everytime I get an autograph, it's very heavy!

For a single picture you can use imageshack but if your uploading a lot of pictures all the time i recommend you signing up to photobucket {thumb2}
