Did not receive any of my requests back today but I got the dvd my friend sent me that was signed by Edi Gathegi. I really hope I start hearing back and that June is a better month for autographs for me.
This is a great day for me! I received a success from Mitchel Musso! I also had 3 other mail- report card, and 2 payments for the photos. I hope everyone will have a success tomorrow!
Well it turns out Mum got me 6 first class stamps and 12 second class stamps, so I got 6 more than I expected! I'm so happy, but I've got a LOT of writing to do!
I went to the Post Office with Mum to send my letter to Peter Facinelli. I wasn't really sure how many IRCs I needed, so we weighed the letter to see how much it would cost to send to America, then worked out how much the photos would weigh. We estimated that we'd need to send 3 IRCs, so fingers crossed!
I've decided on two more I want to send off for - The Saturdays & Lauren Crace.
I have a few letters written out and almost ready to send, but I wrote them before we moved and I have no idea where they are .
I have a small list of requests pending (waiting for VV dates) and a couple for whom I'd like addresses. I think tonight I might pen a letter to Alan Rickman, seeing as I had such a good success from Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio. I'm not really interested in Harry Potter, so maybe that might improve the odds.
I got an rts from my second request to Jason Mraz today. Oh well, I should try him again. Maybe he didn't get it? At least it was returned to me so I'm not gonna wait for it forever. I even wrote a beautiful letter to him and include 2 pictures. I should probably try sending to him in the UK.
Anyway, this is my last 4 days in the States, and then we're moving out of the country on June 7. I'm excited to see my sister, my cousins and my friends, but I'm definitely not enthusiastic on being on school again! I never had a vacation, seriously. Hopefull I should get all my work done today. I really hope so.
I''m planning to make my letter for Jude Law, The Veronicas and maybe Jason Mraz. The pictures and sase are all ready and I just needed to write letters and I'm ready to mail everything.
Well yet another day and no autographs. I am giddy however because I'm on a roll with wanting Tom Felton to play Riley in the Twilight saga movie Eclipse and I started a petition and he included on article about the idea of him playing Riley on his Twitter and the article mentioned my petition! TOM FELTON JUST MAY KNOW I'M ALIVE! Lol
I sent out my first request in lord knows how long to Anna Action via venue at the New End Theatre in London. Writing the letter has put me in the mood to start writing more requests so hopefully i'll be posting out quite a few over the coming days
Still trying to work out some of the autographs I got at the British Soap Awards last month but can't recognise the scribbles...
I just started collecting autographs by mail this week. Mailed three letters with photos on Tuesday so I know I'll be waiting a while to get anything back. I'll probably send out three more next week.
I have a limited budget for my new hobby so I'll be taking it slowly and tracking every penny. I just scanned a couple of my existing In person autographed photos and will try to sell reproductions to raise a little cash. In the long term though I'm hoping to get one autograph to sell for every two that I keep in order to support the hobby or else my wife will be mad. I suppose there are worse or more expensive and less interesting hobbies. Any hints on how I can convince her to loosen the purse strings or at least not get after me about it? LOL.
My first three letters:
Sir Roger Moore
Gary Oldman
Christopher Plummer - He lives in New England(I do, too.) so I'll probably get his back first.

I also have a collection of signed first edition fantasy novels, but I've decided to stop collecting those. The print runs are so big these days, even first editions will never increase in value.
