Jim Davis???

so what are the thoughts on Jim Davis auto's are they real ? I own an animated cel from Garfield and Friends that i ordered from the offical site (signed twice and personalized by Jim) and I also have the same ones that everyone gets from emailing.

I really can't tell the difference in them.

My question is does he send real ones?

i would say it is real only because i never heard of any sec's from him and he is usualy pretty nice to his fans.

I have read speculation that he has one of the many artists he employs sign for him a la Walt Disney. This is only speculation and I have seen no verified proof but is quite possible.

As far as I know, all of his autographs are authentic

I think the animated cell is most likely authentic. However the ones that come in the mail by just emailing him are not real. He's actually retired and doesn't do any work himself anymore. His signature is easily replicated by his artists. I know this information from an acquaintance that works at his studios in Indiana and deals with this.
