I managed to get Alicia Silverstone and Ethan Hawke that way. I also sent both of them a regular request and neither of them signed my photos, but they both signed my program.

I might give this Playbill collecting a go {up}. Theatre-wise I have two cast members of the Les Miz Anniversary production at the Royal Albert Hall, so I'd like to see if I can get others (Lea Salonga, Judy Kuhn, Alun Armstrong)

Not sure I really like the idea of someone reading out my letter, though... oh well. ;)
What do you mean reading them out? What I said about Elaine Paige's personal assistant reading them to her while she put on her makeup for SUNSET BLVD? Haha it's not like the whole company sees it, only the PA and Elaine Paige, ..and most actors/actresses from the theatre don't even have PAs, especially state-side!

I met Lea Salonga. She is sooooo nice and generous to her fans (on top of being wildly talented). I tried forever to get Judy Kuhn's (couldnt stage door after I saw her in Les Mis - where I got Salonga's), and sent to her agency and a few other places, and only just got it this past October via venue at a concert she did in New York. She's .. probably one of my favourite theatrical actresses/voices ever!

Well, my letters never read right to me. I don't know about anyone else. ;)

They're both brilliant in Les Miz. I noticed Judy had a very small part in Enchanted as well (after I looked her up on IMDB). I'm really not bothered about Michael Ball  but if I get some others from the 'dream cast' will be very happy.

Haha, I was fooled by Judy's small performance. But unless you know what she looks like - you'd never know! She is at one of the apartments when the magical pricne guy (I really .. only watched the movie for this part/the cameos HAHA don't remember it too well!) is knocking on all the doors...and she is the one with all the kids and says "You're too late." or something like that. Not big, but fun to see. Actually...I think all the Disney princesses are in the movie EXCEPT Salonga - who was both Mulan & Jasmine. Kuhn was Pochantas :)!

Salonga I believe is on tour in Asia as Cinderella if I'm not mistaken. Kuhn appears at cabarets from time to time in New York. Henshall's always popping up in the West End, as is Philip Quast! Good lucK! Any questions let me know!

I got 2 signed photos and a signed playbill back from Angela Lansbury. The blithe spirit playbill has a black and white cover, so that is neat. I will post photos when I get a chance.

That's right . Once I read it I had to go & put the DVD on to see.

Ha JamesFan, I hate to tell you - but when a playbill is in black/white it is of lesser value. And usually means the production doesnt have enough money for colouring them! Oh well. It's still a playbill signed by a LEGEND.

How does everyone here store their Playbills? I don't want to buy the Playbill-storage binder.

Hi if you go to page 10 and read the next page or two, we had a big discussion of it.

Generally, the Playbill-storage binder is great, but EXTREMELY costly. If you have no problem paying for it, the extra sleeves, another binder eventually, great.

Me: I tried the binder idea, by buying just a normal 6x9 one from staples and using just regular (acid-free) sleeves. And then I realized it was stupid because I'm always reading them / trying to find them. So now they sit in 5 boxes :) .

Hi Playbiller,

..with a name like that thought'd you know. The Broadway production of "Exit the King" closes today, June 14, 2009. Sorry!

I've been very busy and posted that after a very stressful day. My computer kept trying to lock up on me. I had it written down somewhere and lost it and thought by some small chance someone would be online. lol

Today I got cast-signed playbills from 9 To 5 & Blithe Spirit.
In the past few weeks I've also gotten autographs from John Tartaglia, Christopher Sieber and Gavin Creel. {love}
