Should I trust this seller on ebay ?

Unread post by Cheri »

This seller has many autographs for sale,he provides "proof photo"to show its authensity. His items are not too expensive. But his feedback is not very good :?
Will you suggest me to buy from him? Are these signed items real?

Thanks!!

It wouldn't be someone I would buy from. Would you sell an authentic signed Rob Pattinson/Kristen Stewart signed photo for 20 bucks? And they seem to have a big supply of popular names. Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and all dirt cheap.

I'd never trust anyone on ebay for anything like that. Even if they have all good feedback, most people aren't experts and would have no clue if its real or a good fake...or a bad fake for that matter. Through the magic of the internet, its pretty easy to fake up 'proof' as well. Could nick a photo from any forum, or (my personal favourite) knock up a 'certificate of authenticity' in about 5 minutes on publisher.
I'm sure theres some authentic stuff on there, but you can never be 100% positive, so it all comes down to whether or not you're willing to take the risk and part with your cash.

The only ebay seller I trust is autograph world. There are too many forgers out there for me to risk buying from anyone else. You have to be sooooo careful coz it's very hard to prove a fake autograph even if you knowit's fake {thumb2}

{down} {down} No - please don't waste your money
for what one of them would costs you could get a few of your own personalised
by the celebrity and you can have the thrill of actually getting them back T.T.M
knowing they are genuine.

even if the ebay seller is giving a certificate of authenticity , unfortunately they are
not worth the paper they are printed on most of the time.
there are a few genuine sellers on ebay (autograph world) but there are also some very unscrupulous sellers
that know who is popular and will sell forgeries or take your payment and then not send anything out.

if you want to buy autographs look on this forums for sale pages as the sellers have to pass
certain criteria before they are allowed to sell.

I wouldn't buy from this seller. In a majority of cases bad feedback doesn't say much about a seller. Bad feedback could be given for a majority of reasons, for example, slow shipping, poor packing, poor communication, but the items could be completly authentic. For this reason I don't pay much attention to bad feedback, because bad feedback doesn't tell you about the authenticity of the items for sale. In this case, most of the bad feedback was from disgruntled buyers with grudges, or because of bad communication and poor condition. The condition of the items was clearly shown in the descriptions, so that's the buyer's fault for not paying close enough attention to what they were purchasing. Some of there items look completly authentic, but some are sketchy, and for that reason alone I wouldn't buy from them!
