I've got a serious problem (Tony, the spammer)...

Unread post by lizane »

Hi! ;)

I'm very afraid now. :( I've been getting pm's from Tony in which he asks for my photo and e-mail, obviously I didn't answer and immediately banned his accounts. But in one of the subjects of the pm's, it said he knows what computer I use. :shock: If he does something to my computer, my dad will kill me. {down}

Please, anyone, is there anything that can happen? :( I have anti-virus and anti-spyware, but my e-mail account has been hacked before. I'll need help/advice on what to do!

Thank you all!

Hi Lizanne,
I have no words for all the things that are happening to you! :(
Honestly I don't think that Tony will be able to access in your computer and see your documents. To make sure about this, disconnect your PC from the web each time you don't need it, and possibly change email address.
I really cannot stand these stalkers anymore, I got a message with a porn link just a few minutes ago...
I really hope for you that everything will finish soon. You have all my support.
Take Care,
Leo

There's nothing he can do to your computer. If he ever sends you any links, don't click on them. Just delete his messages and ban his accounts, like you are already doing. I would keep screen shots and all that stuff and start making a file, and when you feel you have enough proof report him for cyber stalking/harassment. They are passing all kinds of laws now to make this stuff illegal.

Thank you very much, Leo and guilder1st. :) So as long as I don't open any links/messages, my computer will be fine? I'll continue to ban him and delete his pm's then. {up}

Thank you to both! :) I feel a bit more secure now! I really hope he doesn't hack my e-mail account again... :roll:

Hey Lizzy,

Don't let this jerk scare you. I know it's hard not to take his words seriously but there is nothing he can do to your computer. Don't open anything at all, just delete it. I've learned that the more i let it affect me the worse it is. Thats just what he wants. He also pm'd me today with a bunch of porn. He has an obsession with certain people. And he has been bothering almost every TM, Moderator and GM here. Which is suspicious to me because i think that this Anthony fella is actually really someone who used to be on here a lot. Don't worry Lizzy, you'll be okay!!

*Hugs*

Thank you so much Chrissy! :D It's true what you said: he only wants to scare us, if he was really that dangerous, something serious would've happened already. I'll just ban and delete his messages. {up}

Thank you so much for the support - I got a big fright when I saw the title of his pm's. :shock:

he is not a master mind hacker, lol. Probably the stupidest thing for a hacker to do is tell you they will hack you! Not very stealthy! Which is what a hacker is supposed to do/be. A true hacker wouldn't tell you or at the extreme would tell you he already hacked you. You shouldn't have anything to worry about really. A few precautions wouldn't hurt though...

It seems like people have had trouble with Tony for a long time. Can't we just ban his IP?

Hey Lizanne
I haven't been on the forum frequently but even if Tony does know what computer you're using, I don't think chances are too good that he'll actually be able to ruin your computer.

I haven't been on as frequently as I used to but would somebody please fill me in on what's going in on the forum? I know Andy has become quite a nuisence lately.
