Well if you do not have postage go get some or include some money for the return. We are allready imposing on them for a autograph. Now you want them to pay for postage and / or include something they provide signed. It is asking too much. How are they extremely greedy? If they are newer people, they might not know. Or they might not have postage. I, personally, have sent a few requests (not via venue, of course) without an SASE. It's not greedy, they are just out of postage (or envelopes, that's happened to me before) or they don't know.
