Management or Agency?

Unread post by ScottJ »

hi everyone :D

I am going to try to not sound stupid here, and hopefully this topic is in the correct forum, but I thought I saw in a forum posting recently that some agencies don't forward fan mail. I am wondering if someone can help out with this please? Is there a list of agencies that don't forward fan mail or did i read the post incorrectly?

Also I thought I read somewhere recently that collectors are always more likely to get a success from a management company than an agency?

thanks heaps and sorry to sound confusing :D

Hiya Scott,

There isn't a list of agencies that do or don't pass on fan mail, no. To find out if an agency does, you could look at the feedbacks for some of the agency's clients, and if you can't find anything to help you, you could email through the agent's website and ask as to whether they do pass it on. :) Many many agency's will pass on fan mail, though of course there are some who don't, so it's best to check wherever possible before sending something you will be upset about loosing. I, myself have had a very possitive experience by writing via agencies, so I couldn't possibly say which (writing via an agency or management) is better. {up}

Good luck with your requests, really hope they work out! {thumb2}
