It' being reported that Star Wars Actor Barry Robertson (Gamorrean Guard in ROTJ) passed away on June 29th 2009! He was such a great guy and I'm really happy I was able to add him to my collection a while ago.

Check out this awesome success I got from artist Doug Cowan yesterday!

I sent him a letter, SASE, 3 index cards, and questionnaire on June 20th, and I received on July 11th.

He sent me back a bunch of stuff in a 9x12 envelope: letter, typed answers to my questionnaire, 2 of my index cards signed w/ sketches, 1 index card signed, a signed Galaxy Series 4 card showing his work, AND an awesome sketch of Yoda on a 9.5 x 11 piece of cardstock. He sent back my unused SASE as well!! I love getting sketches from artists! Mr. Cowan is amazing - Thanks so much!

Caroline Blakiston (signed 3 Jedi widevision cards, but used a paint pen and didnt allow enough time to dry so all 3 are smudged and faint. but at least they are signed and recognizable)

Grant Gould (signed a Galaxy series card, and wrote a nice note one one of the blank index cards I sent, and used another to sketch a great Yoda)

Mark Chiarello (signed 3 Galaxy series cards, and added a great drawing of a Grays negro league baseball player for me. when I wrote him I mentioned how much I liked the series of negro league players he did)
