Sports stars are a little different because they got to where they are based on their talent, not based on how much people like them. Still, I think sports stars should still do what they can for their supporters...
But back to reality stars not wanting to sign autographs...I heard some really nasty things about Taylor Hicks ("American Idol" season 5 winner) a few weeks ago. I'd heard that he had gotten a really big head and didn't want to sign autographs, and according to some people, he got like that while he was still on "Idol!" Doesn't sound like someone who's deserving of the title "American Idol" to me...
But even bigger stars, like Cameron Diaz for example...on numerous occasions I have seen her / heard of her blowing fans off, saying "Sorry, I'm not signing anything today."
I wish all celebrities (no matter if they're A-list or D-List) were more like people like Tom Cruise or Will Smith--they're always nice to their fans, they always sign as many autographs in person as they can. They're two of the biggest stars in the world, and they always come through for their fans.) If they don't reply to my letter, I don't really mind. I can understand them not wanting to trawl through piles of fanmail but there's no excuse for being rude to people who queue for hours to see you and support you.
yeah you're totally right!!
