Would you recommend editing a thread posted by a TM?

Unread post by wlperie »

This TM only has 65 posts, yet has a thread posted in Autographs for Sale/Exchange.

I personally think it should be edited, but I wanted to check with everyone else.

Rules are rules. Yes, I would edit it and send him/her a pm why it was edited.

As a TM, that person should know and understand the rules of the forum. I know it's hard, but I probably would edit it because it is a rule that they must have 100 constructive posts. Just because they are a TM shouldn't exempt them from this.

It seems the TM was able to add 37 posts in just a few hours by posting things like "COOL!!" in a lot of threads (as seen here: http://fanmail.biz/mboard/search.php?au ... 0&sr=posts). The posts arent constructive, and very childish looking for a TM to post.

Thanks for the help though. {thumb2}

Well the user ran and told admin that I deleted her posts. I got a pm asking why I did it. I explained that I sent her a pm explaining the rules but I guess she doesnt understand this. also seeing as this person is 10 years old. Now it is up to him if she can sell or not.

I would also like to point out that this users pulling up older posts that have already been answered and basically copying what was already said. For example, under the "Collecting Help" forum, there was a topic where someone asked about where to buy autos back in mid-July. I refered them to the Autographs for Sale/Exchange forum and someone else gave some info. Then this morning, the thread is back up at the top of the forum and she wrote to check out the Autographs for Sale/Exchange forum. Which is what was talked about at length in the previous posts.... http://fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic.php?f=117&t=143007 She's also pulled up some older threads from July as well that have all been answered {down}
